We exist to give farmers and producers access to quality inputs, modern technology and fair markets — enhancing their livelihoods through collective strength, sustainable practices and value-added opportunities. Every decision we make is measured against one question: does it make members stronger, together?
Rithi's Upasana began as a grassroots effort among local farmers in the Kottarakkara region who wanted a better way to source inputs, adopt technology, and sell their produce on fair terms. That collective spirit was later formalised into a registered company — giving members a legal structure, shared ownership, and a Board they elect themselves.
Grassroots beginnings — local farmers and producers in the region come together around shared goals of better inputs, technology and market access.
Formally incorporated as RITHI'S UPASANA PRODUCER COMPANY LTD. under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U01500KL2025PTC096931), giving the collective a legal, member-owned structure.
A growing base of farmer-shareholders accessing inputs, technology, markets and member deposit facilities.
A Producer Company is a distinct corporate structure created under the Companies Act, 2013, built around the people it serves. It sits apart from the other institutions you may be comparing us with.
Anyone aged 18–60 can join as a member and shareholder for ₹105 — there are no outside investors to answer to.
Regulated under Chapter XXIA (Producer Companies) of the Companies Act, 2013, administered by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and filed with the Registrar of Companies, Kerala.
Governance follows the co-operative principle of equal voice, regardless of shareholding size.
We are a Farmer Producer Company, not a bank, NBFC, cooperative society or Nidhi company. Our member services, including deposit facilities, operate strictly within the framework applicable to Producer Companies under the Companies Act, 2013. See Products & Services for details.
